WHO WE ARE

The Denker Basketball Academy is an elite-level AAU basketball program, based in San Jose, California. We practice in the Almaden Valley area, and serve surrounding communities, including Los Gatos, Willow Glen, San Jose and more. Our mission is developing successful, well-rounded boys and girls who excel at basketball, and in life. Basketball is the game we play, but we hope the lessons learned through hard playing, teamwork and community service will impact our players throughout their playing careers, and beyond. We offer highly-competitive teams for boys and girls, ranging from 4th grade through high school. Our team name, “Drive”, is a symbol both of the intensity we bring to the court, and also the motivation we want to foster for all facets of life. We are a Non-Profit (501c-3) organization that strives to help youth in our area as well as other charitable organizations around the world.  We play in both local and national-level AAU tournaments. We compete hard with fundamental defense, creative offense, highly disciplined play and team-first attitude. We develop our players through training camps and skills clinics. We offer excellent collegiate- and national-level coaching experience. And most importantly, we are about working hard, having fun, and supporting each other as we compete, learn and grow together.
